Beautiful! The air conditioner wasn't working in our dressing room & we were still melting with the floor fan that was in there! The owner is a little strong willed, but the place is nice.
The owner of this venue, Yolanda, is the most unprofessional person I have ever had to deal with. Her office is like a pig's pen. There are papers and children's clothes all over the place! It took her 10 minutes to find me a menu and was constantly yelling at her family members to get their attention. She speaks one sentence and by the time she's speaking her second she forgets what she said. I wanted to book my engagement here (until I saw how tacky the venue was) and had the worst 30 minute experience of my life in her office. Afterwards, she called me about a rose wall I was potentially interested in renting. I told her I was INTERESTED. She called me weeks later and asked when I was coming in. I told her my event was a week away and it was too late to book the rose wall because it was out of my budget anyway. She YELLED at me over the phone and hung up on my face. When I called back she yelled, "Don't ever call my restaurant again!" I was in complete shock! How can anyone (business or not) do this to someone? I will never ever go back here again and I hope the worst for her business.
The place is gorgeous, I was taken by surprise when I saw it because I expected it to look a lot more run down. They were also very accommodating, because our party had more guests than anticipated, so they had more tables brought in and set up for us, the room was a bit cramped, but we should have gotten a bigger room. And most of the food was also surprisingly very good, the only thing I disliked of what I got was the rice, which was far from fully cooked. This place would get five stars from me, but the managers aren't the most pleasant people to deal with, they work hard, but if they were a bit nicer to the people who are in charge of the party, it would make it a bit less stressful.
